The Riddle Summary in English: (The Riddle Class 7 Questions And Answers)
Akbar was a great Indian emperor. He had nine great ministers at court, and Birbal was famous for his intelligence and wisdom. Akbar, one day, went for a stroll in his lovely garden but was upset. Birbal inquired of him the reason and was told by Akbar that he was disturbed as he could not understand what the swiftest thing in the world was. The courtiers were unable to provide an apt reply. Birbal answered that the quickest thing in the world is the human mind, and to demonstrate to him, he would acquire a solution.
A person complained that he had purchased a well from his neighbor, but now his neighbor was demanding money for the water. The neighbor said that he had sold the well, not the water. Birbal replied craftily, which reminds him of the rent he had to give for storing his water in the man’s well because theirs was the neighbor’s. The neighbor got happy and lodged a withdrawal of his complaint. All of them admired the cleverness of Birbal and agreed that nothing travels faster than the human brain.
